T.A.L.K  -  Talk About Listening and Keeping it Real
Discover the World of Communication: Listening, Interpersonal Communication, Conflict Resolution, Self Esteem and Technology
Evelyn Agustin, VA State Certified Mediator, Educator, Marriage & Family Advisor

I developed T.A.L.K. because I am concerned for our youth and their over use of technology such as: IM, Facebook, Twitter, Google and Texting.

My position is that technology is not the problem, it is the over use of technology. I believe our youth today are not developing effective written and oral communication skills. They are losing the ability to concentrate and social interaction is being replaced with social networking, therefore our youth are developing a false reality and isolating themselves.
