Virginia's Tax Free Weekend for school supplies
is August 6 - 8. Here is the school supply list for
CBA Lower and Middle School students.
Lower School
School Supply List
2010-2011
This is a basic school supply list for the Lower School. The classroom teachers will be providing you
with more specific supply list requirements on Wednesday, August 25th.
- 1 Backpack
- 1 Lunchbox
- 1 Small Pencil Box with Student's Name
- # 2 Pencils (3 Packages)
- Lined Paper (2 Packages)
Ages 5-6: Wide Ruled with Dashed Line in Between
Ages 7 and Up: Wide Ruled
- 1 Ruler
- Scissors
- 4 Glue Sticks
- Pink Erasers (1 Package)
- Washable Markers (1 Package)
- Colored Pencils (1 Package)
- Construction Paper (1 Package)
- Crayons (1 Box)
- Index Cards (Ruled 4 x 6) (1 Package)
- Kleenex (2 Boxes)
- 2 Containers of Hand Soap
- 2 Containers of Hand Sanitizer
- 2 Containers of Clorox or Lysol Wipes
- Tennis Shoes Daily for PE
- Healthy Snack and Drink Daily (Low or No Sugar Only)
Middle School
School Supply List
2010-2011
General Supplies:
#2 pencils with erasers or mechanical pencils
Pens (blue or black) avoid light colored pens
Highlighters
Loose-leaf paper
index cards
Binder rings or clips for index cards
Materials needed for specific classes:
Language Arts
2 composition notebooks (not spiral, any color)
3 2-pocket folders (multiple colors)
2 sets of colored pencils (one for school, one for home)
Math
1 calculator
Graph paper
Science
Ruler
Binder (1 inch)
Advocate
1 box of tissues
1 package of pencils
1 container of hand-soap
1 container of Clorox cloths
1 container of hand sanitizer
Please send these items with your student on the first day of school. Additional supplies may be requested from individual teachers during the course of the school year.
For consistency in organizing our students, all Middle School students are issued a binder. The fee for binders will appear on book invoices with other supplies that are issued by the school.
