Celebrating Black History Month
To celebrate Black History Month, each division is incorporating special projects into their curriculum. The projects focus on achievements and contributions of African Americans to our cultural landscape, and their central role in the development of American society.
Our middle school computer skills class researched notable Black Americans and made posters of their achievements using Canva (yes, Canva, not Canvas), an online design tool. We look forward to sharing the finished products in an upcoming issue of the Connection!
