Fund-A-Cause 2021: OT Sensory Room
CBA has always served our students in a holistic way. This highly specialized space is designed to help students work through their sensory overload that can result from classroom demands, making them more available to learning. The room will include:
- Climbing walls
- Mini-trampolines
- Swings
- Soft cushioned surfaces
- Fiber-optic lighting
The social and emotional development of children has been a particular focus over the past year. Let’s keep CBA on the leading edge in providing instructional supports that address the whole child!
Tuition Assistance & Scholarships
Additional funds raised would go to support students in need. Currently, 70% of students receive some level of tuition assistance. We expect that number to increase in the coming year, as the financial stress on many families increases.
Tax Credits
Fund-A-Cause donations of $1,000 or more may be eligible for tax credits through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). Please contact Director of Development, Cami Best-Jones at 757-497-6200 or cbestjones@cba-va.org before making your gift to explore the opportunity of tax credits.
