Graduate Degrees in Special Education Earned by Six Chesapeake Bay Academy Faculty Members

Friday, August 26, 2016

Chesapeake Bay Academy is proud to announce that six faculty members have completed the Special Education Master's Program at Regent University.  Congratulations to Andrea Frazer, music teacher and band director, Andy Harris, upper school art, digital design and videography teacher, Liana Nobre, 5th grade teacher, Kris Rossi, Director of Lower School, Eva Seijo, upper school math teacher, and April Suratos, middle school social studies teacher.

Thanks to a continued partnership with Regent University, the cohort of six began their studies in winter of 2014 and celebrated their graduation over the summer.  CBA also regularly serves as a placement for student teachers from the Regent College of Education, providing those students with an inside look at CBA and expert, hands-on training and experience in their field.

“Providing our students with the highest caliber of educators is at the forefront of our strategic plan for the future.” commented Judy Jankowski, Ed.D., Head of School at Chesapeake Bay Academy. “I could not be more proud of the exceptional faculty I am privileged to lead.”
