Middle school students at CBA are participating in the Kindness Rock Project (link is external), a national art project created to spread inspiration and a moment of kindness for unsuspecting recipients through random inspirational rocks. CBA is proud to announce a new research partnership with Old Dominion University and Eastern Virginia Medical School.  Next year two studies, both involving the use of technology to facilitate student choice and classroom engagement, will be carried out in the lower school. CBA welcomed Dr. Christina (Tina) Hebert to the team in August of 2016 as our new Middle School Language Arts Teacher & Reading Specialist.  Dr. Hebert is a Certified Reading Specialist with Master's degrees both in Special Education and Administration, as well as a Ph.D. in Literacy Leadership.
