Ross W. Greene, Ph.D., is the New York Times bestselling author of the influential books The Explosive Child, Lost at School, Lost and Found, and Raising Human BeingsDr. Greene was on the faculty at Harvard Medical School for over 20 years, and is now founding director of the non-profit Lives in the Balance, which provides a vast array of free, web-based resources. He has appeared in a wide range of media, including The Oprah Show, Good Morning America, The Morning Show, National Public Radio, Mother Jones magazine, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and the Boston Globe. Dr. Greene lectures and consults widely throughout the world and lives in Portland, Maine.

While executive functioning (EF) is important for everyone, executive dysfunction defines and characterizes ADHD.  In this session, we will (a) emphasize EF’s neurodevelopmental nature, (b) outline EF’s neuroanatomical bases and components, (c) review EF’s central relevance to ADHD adaptation, management, and treatment, and (d) introduce classroom EF enhancement strategies. Participants should bring and expect a data-based, scientific approach to this topic and leave with pragmatic and thought-provoking suggestions.

Lessons Learned During the Era of Telehealth/Telelearning
Dr. Janice Keener, CHKD psychologist has extensive training in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and obtained her research reliability in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-Second Edition from the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain in 2014. Her research and clinical interests include Pediatric Health Psychology, early childhood assessment, consultation and liaison, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.  She is certified in the treatment of Tourette Disorder from the Tourette Syndrome Behavioral Therapy Institute Program. She is also bi-lingual and provides assessment and psychotherapy in Spanish and English.
